1/32 Ho 229 Wood Grain Photo-Etched Mask [Type 1]

The wood grain pattern is so crisp it looks like actual veneer once painted, and the photo-etched precision means it lines up perfectly without any trimming guesswork. I’ve built a lot of cockpits, but this is the first time I didn’t have to fight the mask at all—just lay it down and spray.

Laying this mask over the cockpit floor gave me a wood grain I could never paint by hand at this scale. The etched pattern is fine but still deep enough that dry-brushing picks it out cleanly. Fit the part with no trimming at all.
