TAMIYA Basic File Set (Medium Double-Cut)

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the half-round file contours curved surfaces on this plastic model kit. The compact size makes it easy to control, and the medium double-cut texture removes material at just the right pace.

The flat file in this set is perfect for getting into tight spots on plastic model kits, and the medium cut leaves a smooth finish without too much effort. I've been using the half-round one for curved surfaces, and it works great on soft metals too.
